A: Natural Balance is not safe for pregnancy unless under the care of a physician due to the potent licorice root. Natural Balance is safe for breastfeeding babies if mom is taking a normal daily dose, but not if she is taking large doses multiple times a day.

Ok, so here’s my story in a nut shell. I had had incredibly irregular periods for years. My hormone levels were perimenipausal and had such bad PMS that my doctor diagnosed me with PMDD and wanted me on antidepressants (which I tried for a while). I was also on synthetic progesterone cream. I was desperate for change because those things weren’t helping much.
