I really like using this product for my hair after washing. I have curly hair and sometimes it can get frizzy. With Hair Butter it does not get frizzy. It also leaves my hair feeling soft. It is thick but if you get some out with your finger, smooth it around on your fingers and inbetween your fingers onto both hands, until it becomes pliable. Then apply it on your hair. Afterwards, whatever is left on my fingers I rub it on my cuticles and then on the rest of my hands.

I’m giving this a four-star rating because it is extremely hydrating and very kind to dry dry curls. I’m only giving it four stars though because the smell was not very pleasant. It was extremely strong and I didn’t feel like I could wear it while around other people. I do use it before a shower when I’m not shampooing my scalp for My Curls and when I get out the smell has greatly decreased due to it being rinsed out my curls do love this stuff I just wish they could find a better way for the smell.

I love this! I only use about half a pea size to full pea size amount, my hair is fine, frizzy & down to my mid back. I have always tried to tame it with curling, straightening or just putting it up. But using the Hair Butter I actually have ringlets & can let my hair dry naturally & not look like I got electrocuted. It looks like I put moose in it. Later or the next day I brush it out it is soft & shiny. It can also be used with a spray or two of the Leave In Conditioner.
I love Earthley products because they contain no corn derivatives, which I am allergic to, I get painful sores on my scalp & neck. Thank you Earthley!

I have very thick, dry, curly hair. I used the hair butter on my wet hair right after washing and it did nourish my hair! It certainly added moisture to my curls. My complaint is that it is difficult to apply. It was hard to smooth throughout my hair. I would recommend it for someone with very dry hair. However, if you are like me and you like to quickly apply your products and be on your way you might not like it.

After having Covid, I had a lot of hair loss. Once the regrowth started, it came in course and dry. I tried using a flat iron to smooth it out & blend in with the rest of my hair, but that only made it worse. Then I saw the hair butter on Earthley’s website & gave it a try. After shampooing, I lightly tap my fingertips on the product, I rub them together, then massage it into the strands & ends of the shorter lengths (I avoid the scalp area.). Smooths the ends out and blends in with the longer sections of hair beautifully. Such a small amount is needed, the jar will last a long time!
