Kate Tietje’s First Cookbook is Available NOW!
Many cookbooks out there have beautiful photos of complicated dishes using exotic ingredients. That’s fine for a special occasion, but it’s not really how most families eat on a daily basis. So, Kate decided to create a resource that mirrors her family’s real life and what they truly eat — on busy weeknights and slow-paced weekends both. Real, nourishing comfort foods using simple ingredients and familiar flavors that everyone will enjoy, even picky children! Introducing Wholesome Real Food Favorites.
This book includes:
- A Real Food Kitchen (what you need to know about whole foods cooking)
- Real Food Basics (bone broth, spices, kombucha, and more)
- Drinks and Smoothies
- Salads and Sides
- Soups and Stews
- Main Dishes
This cookbook is over 150 pages and includes 90+ of the Tietje family’s most-loved recipes! Plus, it includes a sample meal plan, simple meal ideas, kitchen basics, and more. Scroll down to learn more and purchase!

Watch us make the salsa from this book:
Throughout the years, Kate has chosen to prioritize nutrition and home-cooked food for her family. She’s learned a lot along the way and is sharing it with you! You will love the quality, easy recipes and beautifully photographed foods. Rather than doing all the research and sorting through endless recipes online, you can finally enjoy a well-thought-out cookbook that has done all the work for you. All that’s left is to enjoy creating quick, wholesome meals for you and your family. To make it even more valuable, the book includes a list of pantry staples, simple meal ideas, and even a complete meal plan! These recipes are healthy, natural versions of common American foods – dishes you really would serve on a daily basis.
Here, you’ll find how to go from packaged/processed foods to mostly from-scratch foods, and how to make it easy. We know that families are busy and don’t have time to spend an hour-plus in the kitchen to prepare every meal. Plus, you want to enjoy life! There’s no point in dry salads and plain grilled meats with no spices and no treats! You’ll find some of her favorite healthy dessert and snack options in this book too.
“I hope you love this book as much as we do. It has truly become our own family cookbook with a permanent place on our shelf!” – Kate Tietje, Author
