I have been using nothing but baking soda (dissolved in water) to wash my hair for about 10 years. It was starting to be too abrasive for my sensitive skin and possibly adding to some hair loss. I recently changed to the Earthley shampoo bar, and I love it! It is much gentler on my scalp, but it does a great job cutting the greasiness (I only wash my hair once a week, so by day 6 or 7 it is usually starting to get a little greasy).

I want to leave more stars. It gives my hair volume, I can go longer between washes, and it smells so good! BUT every time I comb my hair post-shower, I am horrified by the amount of hair I lose! I don’t know why this product would cause that but there’s no way I’m imagining it. Please someone tell me it’s temporary while my hair adjusts or something!

I’m on week 2 of using this! Amazed at how much it lathers. My hair is long and fine. The shampoo bar makes it much more voluminous, but it also seems heavier if that makes sense… It does feel a little more oily/heavy in some places but I think that will go away over time as my oils balance. I’m going from your typical drugstore “cleansing” shampoo daily, straight to this, so it may take a little more time to fully balance out but so far I’m happy!!

This is a great shampoo bar! It smells wonderful and has a great later! I feel like it is actually CLEANING my hair! My only complaint is my hair did look a little bit oily afterwards, but I have read other reviews that maybe is because it doesn’t strip your hair of its natural oils like other shampoos do. So maybe that is just something I have to get used to, or it is my hair transitioning to this type of shampoo. Overall I have been happy with this product each wash and plan on continuing to use it!
