Q: What’s the difference between this and the original Mineral Deodorant?
A: The PLUS formula uses the same skin-nourishing oils and magnesium chloride, but also contains French green clay. This clay is especially absorbent and can help keep you dry and detox your body even more strongly.
Q: Will this deodorant stain my clothes?
A: We recommend applying a small amount and allowing a few minutes for it to absorb before dressing. Excessive amounts may stain clothing.
Q: Does this stop me from sweating like an antiperspirant?
A: No, and that’s good! An antiperspirant uses aluminum to block pores. But that stops your body from cooling itself or releasing toxins. Sweat is good — smell is not! This helps to keep you dry and stink-free, but it doesn’t stop sweat.
Q: Does this contain aluminum?
A: No! We never use aluminum in any of our deodorants. We don’t even use aluminum equipment in our facility, so there’s no chance of cross-contamination.
Q: What’s wrong with baking soda? Isn’t it natural?
A: Yes, it is! But some people find it irritating and end up with a red, painful rash. We choose to use arrowroot so that people with sensitive skin can use this too.
Q: Is there any kind of transition period from regular deodorant?
A: There can be. Sometimes you can smell worse for up to 2 weeks! Our Detoxifying Pit Mask helps to shorten that time.
Q: Do I need to wear this daily?
A: Many people do, of course. But some find, over time, that they no longer smell even when they don’t wear it everyday. It’s up to you!
Q: Ouch, it burns when I put it on! Why?
A: If you shave, it creates tiny cuts in your skin. Magnesium can burn when applied to any wound. We recommend waiting at least 30 minutes after shaving before applying.

I didn’t mind the scent (lemon-mint), however, it just didn’t work for me. It lasts for about 4-5 hours of doing computer/office work (not strenuous activity at all). By the end of the day I can definitely smell myself. I had high hopes for it, but looks like I’m back on the search wagon.

I bought the mineral deodorant in lavender and I really like it. I’ve always struggled with body odor and I’m sensitive to some natural deodorants. This doesn’t make me get a rash and it keeps the body odor away. Sometimes I have to reapply in the evening depending on the activities during the day.

This absolutely did not work for me at all. I cannot say it doesn’t work, because according to other reviews they seem happy with it. I used it for 4 months straight, every day, along with the clay mask, which didn’t work either. Actually made body odor by using it. Wife finally had enough and couldn’t take me using it and the results, so had to try something else :'( bummer, because of just buying one to try/test out, I brought all of the ones available (unscented & scented) at one time lol… oh well

I have tried ALL the natural deodorants. I couldn’t tolerate anything with baking soda. I would break out in a horrible, purplish rash that would last months. And none of the kinds without baking soda tamed the stink. I was even irritated by some without baking soda. Then I found the Mineral Deodorant. It didn’t give me a rash AND it actually worked! I switched immediately to the unscented & spring blossoms scent. After my baby, I needed a little extra odor control, so I switched to the Plus version. It works like a charm. This stuff actually works! I have tested a lot of natural deodorants that I just felt weren’t as powerful as mainstream deodorants and didn’t get the job done. Deodorant was actually the LAST toxic product in my home that I switched because I was so picky. I tried the lemon mint first and it WORKED. Then I tried the vanilla bean and I’m never going back. It smells amazing and lasts all day. I sweat a lot. Nobody likes to admit it, but I STINK. This actually lasts through the stank with me. It’s not clumpy or powdery. It spreads on evenly for me and doesn’t stain my clothes. Finally found a deodorant that works and doesn’t contain toxic ingredients!

I’ve been using deodorants without aluminum for many years now, but never been very happy with the options. I’m so glad I tried the mineral plus! The regular citrus smells nice and fresh but doesn’t last as long as the plus varieties. I like the minimal and (truly) natural ingredients, but they still don’t act the best as antiperspirantst. Doesn’t last all day whether or not it’s truly hot outside. It could just be me and how my skin is right now so I’ll continue to use the mineral plus deodorants and hope for the best. The ingredients and the price can’t be beat!

I was using a great all natural deodorant prior that lasted all day but it contained baking soda and eventually I would break out. No more!! This one is the absolute best.
