Apply under your arms in the mornings. Avoid using directly after shaving as the magnesium could cause irritation or burning. Do not use on broken skin.

FAQs
Q: Does this contain aluminum?
A: No! We never use aluminum in any of our deodorants. We don’t even use aluminum equipment in our facility, so there’s no chance of cross-contamination.
Q: What's wrong with baking soda? Isn't it natural?
A: Yes, it is! But some people find it irritating and end up with a red, painful rash. We choose to use arrowroot so that people with sensitive skin can use this too.
Q: Is there any kind of transition period from regular deodorant?
A: There can be. Sometimes you can smell worse for up to 2 weeks! Our Detoxifying Pit Mask helps to shorten that time.
Q: Do I need to wear this daily?
A: Many people do, of course. But some find, over time, that they no longer smell even when they don’t wear it everyday. It’s up to you!
Q: Ouch, it burns when I put it on! Why?
A: If you shave, it creates tiny cuts in your skin. Magnesium can burn when applied to any wound. We recommend waiting at least 30 minutes after shaving before applying.
Q: Will this leave oil stains on my clothes?
A: A: The French Green Clay can stain your clothes. This can be minimized by not applying too much and letting it dry for a bit before getting dressed. If you do get stains, we recommend applying baking soda to the stain (leave the stain dry) and letting it sit before 24 hours before washing.
Q: What is the difference between Mineral Deodorant and Mineral Deodorant Plus? Which one should I choose?
A: The only difference is the use of French Green Clay in our Plus version. This gives it a more detoxifying edge for those that really struggle with body odor and need more help.
Q: Why do I still smell after switching to natural deodorant?
A: Having body odor is a sign that your body needs a detox or is detoxing. We have found that the best thing to do to help you switch to our natural deodorant is using our Detoxifying Pit Mask to help the process along.
Q: Why is the deodorant only for ages 8+?
A: Most of our deodorants contain essential oils. Essential oils are very strong and potent and should not be used on children under 8 years of age in most cases. The Unscented and Vanilla formulas are safe for all ages.

I started using this deodorant last fall and was surprised at how well it worked. I expected to have to switch back to conventional antiperspirant for the summer, but it was August before I realized I have not been smelly through the heat of summer. While this is a deodorant and not an antiperspirant, so I still sweat, I do not smell. I would definitely recommend the detoxifying pit paste to go with this. I used it once a week for a month or so and now use it monthly-ish.

I have been using natural deodorants for easily 8+ years. I thought I would give this one a try because I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t have baking soda. I ordered the woods scent, it’s nice and earthly which I like. However, after about 5 days of use I developed a rash. I do have sensitive skin, it’s hard to say what ingredient is causing it. In terms of performance, I found it to last not super long (definitely less than 24 hours, maybe closer to 10-12 for me). I don’t have high expectations of natural deodorant to last very long though. All in all, I’m glad I tried it and was able to support this company, it just wasn’t right for my sensitive skin.

I REALLY wanted to like this product, but it just doesn’t work for me. I decided to try transitioning to a natural deodorant after having many under arm issues over the past year. I purchased 2 trial sizes one for myself and one or my younger (9 yo) son to try. I am somewhat familiar with the different types of natural deodorant and I was surprised at the consistency of this when i first tried it. It comes in a “stick” package, but in my opinion should be in a pot or jar. This is nearly impossible to use as a stick. I end up rubbing it in with my fingers anyway as it does not apply evenly from the applicator. I like the scent and overall the odor prevention has been good, but after shaving and then applying the product 12 hours AFTER shaving. I now have a red rash under one arm. Just one arm, not both. Not sure what caused this, but this with the difficult application makes this a no go for me.
