Only the most gentle, yet effective ingredients are used to create Earthley’s Laundry Detergent. The natural power of washing soda, citric acid, and saponified oils combine to clean clothing without brighteners, fragrances, or dyes. We also included bromelain, an enzyme naturally derived from pineapples, to fight stains. The result is a pure, all-natural laundry detergent that is safe for sensitive skin and the environment.
Natural essential oils are added to our Citrus, Spring Blossoms, and Eucalyptus-Spearmint scents to leave behind a light, fresh smell. However, if you prefer unscented products, we have that option available too!

Usage
For normal loads, use 1 tbsp. For heavily-soiled loads, use 1.5 tbsp. The use of hot or warm water is recommended. May be used in an HE washer if it is blended with a small amount of hot water and added to the drum before the clothes. Works well with hard water.

I had previously been using Melaleuca detergent (and not sure how “clean” or “natural” it actually was). It was okay, seemed to get our clothes clean. I decided to give Earthley’s a try since cancelling our membership and I am very satisfied! The citrus scent is wonderful, but not overbearing. It also has done a great job on our cloth diapers, which can sometimes be a chore to get clean, and/or find a product that is safe and effective to use. We will definitely be buying more!

I was looking to find a better natural detergent and go away from bottles too. I’m so glad I made the switch! First received on Sept 2021 and reordered last month. While I don’t have a family or kids to do laundry for, my first bag will have lasted 7 months which is a lot longer than what I was using before. I use a salsa bowl, and pour it into measuring spoon, little bit of warm water (helps if you have a sink right next to your washer) as it reacts quickly, to be poured in drum. Love the scent, if it ever comes in other scents, that will be great too! Maybe lavender, or basil? I air dry my clothes so can’t say what they would feel like after the dryer, but the clothes come out great. The towels which take a bit longer, are getting better with each wash! I notice I’m not as itchy as I have been before either! Will never use anything else! 🙂

I have been on the hunt for a natural detergent that actually works for years! So many don’t work with our hard water and clothes would be dingy and just not get clean without lots of extra scrubbing on every little spot. I have been using this product (Citrus scent) for about 4 months. I have been keeping track of how may loads I get out of each bag, and so far I have averaged around 75 medium-large sized loads! I could not be happier with the value and use I get out of each bag. I love that there is very little trash to throw away when I empty a bag as well. My laundry room trash gets emptied much less often now.
I was also very impressed with this product’s performance. I always used traditional liquid detergent before and I was worried that this product would not clean as well, or would leave an unclean feeling/residue on my clothes. Not so. This product performs as well, if not better, than any other traditional liquid detergent I have used before. (I usually run hot or warm water loads with this new detergent)

Over the years I’ve tried many natural detergents and this one truly does work the best! I was waiting a bit to leave a review because I have been using it on my sons cloth diapers too, and I wanted to make sure it didn’t leave any build up which can take months. I am happy to say that there is not! My son has never had a diaper rash, the prefolds do not come out still stinking of ammonia, and we have had no issues. Previously using another natural detergent my daughter had diaper rash from her cloth diapers because it wasn’t completely getting everything clean and there was build up and they smelled. This laundry detergent works great on our clothes but the big seller was how well it works for cloth too! It’s also very cost effective, so wins all around!
