Common Ways to Use Green Rooibos

Green rooibos is predominantly dried and used to make tea.

Growing and Foraging Information

The rooibos leaf is harvested once per year starting at 12-18 months. After cutting young branches by hand, the stems and leaves are bundled for ease of transport to a processing center. Here, the rooibos is chopped and piled in rows. After that, they are typically fermented. Green rooibos is not fermented. Red rooibos is the name given to rooibos that has been fermented.

Safety Concerns

There are no known concerns, as this is typically used as a tea to drink. As with any food, it is possible to be allergic to rooibos.

Drug Interaction: If you have any health concerns or are taking any prescription medication, please consult with your health care provider before adding new herbs to your diet.

Breastfeeding and Pregnancy: There are no known contraindications for breastfeeding and pregnancy.

  • Best relax and unwinding tea I have found today clean ingredients and true relief and has definitely now my go-to for anti-anxiety relieving holistic tea.
  • I received a sample of this in one of my orders and I can’t wait until I can get a full package. This tea was amazing for calming my mind and actually putting me in a place to be able to REST. I got an amazing night of sleep.

Spice Tea

Packed with bioavailable nutrients that are rich in antioxidants, promote healthy cognitive function, and have anti-nausea effects, Spice Tea is a must have for your daily tea routine!

  • Hi, I ordered this tea because it said it helped with inflammation. It really helps with the pain. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia and it seems to almost disappear for a while after drinking a cup of this tea it’s strong so I use half of what the direction say and it still works the same. I will be a customer for this item.
  • I love a cup of hot tea on a cold night. I’m also a lover of chai. But I don’t love drinking something with caffeine before bed. I was so happy when Earthley came out with this tea. It tastes just like chai, but without the caffeine. And with health benefits, too. It’s delicious! I appreciate that the ingredients are organic as well.

Pregnancy Tea

Pregnancy Tea was formulated to support pregnant mothers nutritionally and soothe upset stomachs due to morning sickness. A nourishing brew to support a healthy pregnancy!

  • I’m not a tea person, but I’m ALL for the benefits it offers!! I juice an orange and it add it to my cup daily and find myself enjoying my drink! Earthley never fails
  • Love the flavor of this tea! It’s not like other boring red raspberry leaf tea that you have to chug, or choke down, it has a nice lemony hint of flavor. I add a little honey if I drink it hot but I also make an iced tea jar to sip on throughout the day. Started drinking in the 2nd trimester, still drinking it while breast feeding for all the nutrients from the herbs!
