FAQ
Q: Can Sun Soothe be used on any burn?
A: Sun Soothe can be used on burns from anything — not just the sun!Ā If you burn yourself while cooking, reach for Sun Soothe!Ā The only exception is if a burn is large or very serious (third degree), in which case you should seek medical attention.
Q: I thought you werenāt supposed to use oil on burns.Ā Why is Sun Soothe oil-based?
A: In our experience, Sun Soothe is exactly that ā very soothing!Ā Our skin is protected by oils, and nourishing it with healthy oils while it needs to heal is beneficial.Ā Many people experience less or evenĀ noĀ pain after applying.
Q: Can I use too much of this?
A: No, it’s safe to use as much and as often as needed!
Q: What else should I do for burn care?
A: Rinse the burn with cool water and pat dry with a clean towel.Ā Apply Sun Soothe.Ā If the burn is smaller and blistering, keep it covered with gauze or a clean soft cloth.Ā Rinse the burn and re-apply Sun Soothe at least twice a day until the burn is healed.
Q: Why doesn’t this contain aloe?Ā I thought that was the best option for burns.
A: If you have access to fresh aloe leaves, by all means, use them!Ā We don’t use aloe because it is water-based and would require a preservative, and we didn’t want to do that.Ā We want every single ingredient to be beneficial to you!

This stuff is the absolute GOAT for re-hydrating your skin after being burned and helping with the pain/ peeling. I found another thing Sun Soothe is incredible for thoughā a face moisturizer that makes your skin look flawless. Iām not sure how it works, but I discovered I liked this more than any other product for my face in my cabinet. A little goes a long way but it is all youāll need!

We went on a cruise this last February and several of our children got sunburned very badly. I thankfully brought this on our trip and it absolutely helped soothe their agony.

Bought this a few months ago and only used it once. From memory it seemed to have worked great. However, has a super short shelf life- it is growing mold and I was unable to use it for my current sun burn.

Accidentally got a light burn, put this all over before bed, the next day the sting was gone and my skin felt so good, I didn’t even have to use it again! Highly recommend, so glad to have this in my medical cabinet for my kids too.

I love this stuff. I got some sun burn this year at the beach and this took the sting and pain away. I have not peeled either. I used it twice a day for the first week now i use it once each day for the moisture. It is very oily and a little goes a long way so you might not need the larger container.

I hardly ever leave reviews, even though I should. I’m just not a writer and can never think of the right words to use. Anyway, I made the mistake of using a hair removal tool on my underarms. It worked great on my legs, but after the first few passes on my armpit, it started burning. By time I got out of the bath, it felt on fire. I looked in the mirror and it was bright red, inflamed, and I was in pain. Some sort of friction burn. I grabbed my sun soothe and applied it generously over the next 24 hours. Just whenever it would start burning again, I’d apply the cream. By the next night, I had no pain and the redness was practically gone. I’m so glad I had this in my cabinet as a just in case.

I mowed my grass in UV Index 8 Sun today without any protection and burned. I used Sun Soothe after a cool shower and 3 hours later, my burn is gone! I am a believer. My only regret is that I don’t have the recipe to make the product myself.

I use this on my whole body every time I get out of the shower I have highly sensitive skin it really calms it down and moisturizes it. every other lotion I have tried will burn my skin. this is also amazing if you burn easily in the sun it will feel so good and you’ll wake up with just a tan

I love sun soothe! At least once a year my kids and I get unintentionally sunburnt. This is our go to. Smells great, relieves pain on sight, and reduces the time of them burn.
I also splattered boiling cream corn all over my arm one night and immediately applied sun soothe. Within a few hours you couldn’t even tell I had been burned. My husband and I just knew my arm was going to be blistered within minutes.

AMAZING STUFF! We have sun shield from Earthley and I make it available, but my husband never seems to remember to apply! LOL! He specifically asked me if Earthley has something for sunburns and so I bought this for him right away! I love that it saves him after burning and helps soooo much! He has loved this product!
