Q: Is this safe for my baby, or mom while pregnant/breastfeeding?
A: Safe for babies from 6 months, and can be used safely during pregnancy and breastfeeding!
Q: Why is this in a stick instead of a spray?
A: The most effective ingredients were all oil-based, so it made the most sense to be in a stick.
Q: This melts! What can I do about it?
A: These oils will melt if in the direct sun or hot car. We recommend placing it inside a bag or container where it won’t make a mess if it does melt. Melting will not affect use; it will still work!
Q: How much do I need to use?
A: For backyards or low-bug areas, a little on your neck, wrists, and ankles should be enough. If you will be in the deep woods or high-bug areas, apply to all exposed skin.

This stuff is the real deal. I’ve used it exclusively on my kids for about 2 years now and I’ve not once found a tick on them. And that’s with hiking, rolling in the grass, and tromping through the forest on the daily. I will say it doesn’t seem as effective against mosquitos, but ticks definitely don’t like it, so I’m happy with it.

I love this! The packaging is less than great though. Above room temp and it’ll melt all over, and leaks within the tube. Not cool especially if you’re out camping with no fridge. It is super effective though!!

After trying several natural bug repellents, this one from Earthley is my favorite and I’ve decided to make sure I keep it on hand in the summer. It’s fairly effective and not really messy. The smell is not unpleasant either. I like it a lot better than sprays and such as it’s hard to keep the oils mixed in well. This doesn’t have that problem.

I’m always looking for a natural and effective mosquito repellent. I really wanted this one to be it. I applied liberally and still got bit; of course I can’t be sure what the alternative is. Thankfully I have the drawing out salve which really helps with the itchiness. Also living in a tropical climate the stick melts a bit and I have less control over how much gets applied, or overapplied so it won’t be something I can take with me out. The citronella smell also isn’t too much.

This product works well for sure. But we had to keep ours in the fridge because it melts which was definitely disappointing as we like to hike and camp and it left quite the oily mess to clean up. The scent is strong but that was okay we didn’t rub it everywhere just neck, wrists, ankles, and a strip down belly and back and had minimal issues with bugs! Which is saying a lot for living in the humid midwest. Would i buy it again? Not sure we do still have plenty left and will continue to use what we have.

Love this product! I was a little thrown off my the smell at first, I noticed a citranella type smell but it seems to be effective. Only thing is, don’t let it get to hot, we had it in our camper at the lake and it turns to a liquid so a bit of a mess.
