Rub a small amount on exposed skin areas, especially around the ankles and neck. Reapply as needed.

Q: Is this safe for my baby, or mom while pregnant/breastfeeding?
A: Safe for babies from 6 months, and can be used safely during pregnancy and breastfeeding!
Q: Why is this in a stick instead of a spray?
A: The most effective ingredients were all oil-based, so it made the most sense to be in a stick.
Q: This melts! What can I do about it?
A: These oils will melt if in the direct sun or hot car. We recommend placing it inside a bag or container where it won’t make a mess if it does melt. Melting will not affect use; it will still work!
Q: How much do I need to use?
A: For backyards or low-bug areas, a little on your neck, wrists, and ankles should be enough. If you will be in the deep woods or high-bug areas, apply to all exposed skin.
Q: Why is my product so dark? It's never been this dark before.
A: Natural products do vary by growing season or slight changes in plant variety. This does not change effectiveness.

This smells great and works well. I had some issues with storage. I kept it in an upper cabinet and it still melted and leaked (cabinet smelled great). Customer service was fantastic and helped me out with it, even though I was outside the return window. In the future, just to be safe, I will be storing in her fridge while not in use, but I think you’d be safe keeping it in a lower cabinet since warm air rises.

I love that this is better and natural and my kids and I don’t have to inhale that nasty spray from.other brands. And it truly works. Smell is strong but we don’t mind it. My kids actually ask me to put it on them. Usually I have to make them put the off on but this they don’t mind and like the smell. Only reason I am giving four stars is because I wish it was bigger. I bought the biggest bottle but not sure how long it last with my family size. A little does go a long way. I would just have to be on top of buying before we run out or buying two at a time. Other than that love this product!

I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this worked. I was looking for a product to help keep away mostly mosquitoes and ticks. I tested it with mosquitos and it really worked. I went on a hike and watched as several mosquitos would land on me and then immediately leave . I haven’t tested it on ticks (I am hoping to never find a tick to find out) but I found severeal ticks throughout the last couple of months whenever I would go out in the woods. However after using this I haven’t found any yet. So I’m guessing it’s doing its job right . It smells really good too. Usually insect repellents give me a headache, so it’s nice to find something that I can smell without the bad side effects.

Great for going on walks in the evening. I don’t get bit up nor does my skin feel sticky from a product. Goes on smooth with an oil like consistency, so I only need a little bit at a time!

It seemed to work okay during our camping trip. Any exposed skin that had this on didn’t get bit but it didn’t deter the mosquitoes from biting thr the clothes.
The other con is that I began noticing that where I used it the most, neck and behind ears, became very rashy and itchy. I haven’t used it for a couple days and the rash is still struggling to clear up. I’ve showered and had to wash my hair twice to remove the scent.

This is effective in keeping away bugs I like it bc of its clean ingredients. The one con is that when you put it on dirt can stick to you. We were camping and the ground was very dusty. So I noticed that I had dust stuck to my ankles where I applied it.
