Usage
- Ages 6 – 12: 5 – 10 drops
- Ages 13+: 10 – 20 drops
Can be taken as needed daily or every 4 hours to help. Take orally sublingual (under the tongue) or in a preferred drink like juice, tea, water, etc. Dosage is the same for both formulas.
Safety
Safe for ages 6+, — Do not use in children under 6 due to natural salicylates. Safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Women sensitive to mint should avoid.

Q: How often can I take Pain Potion?
A: Pain Potion can be taken as needed or every 4 hours.
Q: Why can’t my child under 6 use Pain Potion?
A: Salicylins have a theoretical risk of Reye’s Syndrome if a child is under 6 and has a virus. Salicylins can be found in herbs like Meadowsweet. There have been zero documented cases of this happening with herbs. There is no concern in using Pain Potion for non-illness pain needs, and very little risk overall.
Q: I accidentally gave this to my child 6 or under. What do I do?
A: If your child was not sick when you administered Pain Potion, there’s no need to worry. If the child was sick when it was administered, make sure to watch carefully for anything concerning, but they should be fine. There have been zero documented cases of Reye’s Syndrome occurring due to herbs like those found in Pain Potion.
Q: Can I take Pain Potion if I am pregnant or nursing?
A: Pain Potion can be taken if you are pregnant or nursing, but it does contain peppermint and women should only take it if they feel comfortable consuming peppermint while pregnant or nursing.

Started replacing my OTC pills with this. One thing I’ve noticed as with all natural, herbal remedies is it’s more like a daily thing to take as a preventative. It does not work like an OTC. I’d recommend taking a smaller dose daily and then boost up when needed. It’s VERY helpful. I really do love it and am so happy that Earthley has created this!

I’ve suffered from headaches and migraines since I was in 5th grade (I’m now 28). I was excited when I found this as I am wanting a homeopathic medicine to help, especially when it’s just a headache.
