Q: My lip balm came a little bit melted. How can I fix this?
A: Nothing is wrong with your lip balm, just stick it in the fridge to re-harden it.
Q: What are the black specks in my lip balm?
A: We formulate our lip balm with real vanilla bean and those black spots are from the vanilla!
Q: Why is my lip balm grainy?
A: Our lip balm can feel grainy if it has melted a bit and re-hardened, and it may feel grainy from the vanilla bean. Nothing is wrong with it or its effectiveness. It is a natural product that doesn’t have binders or fillers in it, so the texture is different than a normal lip balm.
Q: How can I prevent my lip balm from melting?
A: If you want to take your lip balm on the go, we suggest storing it in a cooler to keep it from melting. If you have it at home, keep it in a cool area, not tucked in a pocket or some place warm.

This lip balm isn’t my favorite. It works about as well as any other I’ve tried, but like most of them, it just doesn’t seem to last very long once applied. I got the vanilla bean version and don’t notice the scent at all. Overall an OK product that you’re better off using compared to most mainstream lip balms, but wish it worked better and had a noticeable scent. The other scents may be better.

I purchased the vanilla bean, it has a very nice smell and I love how this lip balm doesn’t have any toxic ingredients. However, besides that, I am still not a huge fan of this lip balm. It’s very oily to the point where it’s uncomfortable. It seems to dry my lips out to the point where they start cracking. I’m sure this product works for other people, just not me for some reason.

I felt like I had to re-apply it constantly and my lips still felt dry, even after several days of use. It has an oily texture which I’ve had in other natural lip balms and was expecting, but this one seemed especially greasy and heavy. Can’t keep it in your pocket due to the melting nature of the ingredients, so was difficult for me to use throughout the day without having it handy in my pocket. Not a bad product, I just prefer more of a beeswax base type lip balm.

This was depressing at first because I had to keep applying it so I thought it wasn’t working, but it was actually healing my lips and eventually I didn’t have to keep applying it as much! It is greasy but for lip balm that doesn’t bother me. I noticed it’s not as greasy if you leave it in a cold car lol. The smell and flavor is great too!

I was afraid that this would be my first negative review. The first day I used the Natural Lip Balm I was disappointed. It doesn’t smell, and I was hoping for that yummy vanilla bean body butter smell. Then I felt like I had to re-apply it a thousand times that day and felt like my lips were drying out! But I kept using it the next day and the next day, and that feeling of total dryness is gone, and I don’t feel the need to re-apply so often!
It is “oily” for lack of a better word. I’m not sure I will be able to keep it in my pocket during the summer! Lol. But I do like the shine it leaves! It looks like you’re wearing lip gloss! And since there’s no taste, I’m not tempted to lick it off! Like every other Earthley product a little goes a longgg way!

I recently bought one of the vanilla lip balms and wow! This stuff is amazing. When I opened it I started slathering it on like you usually do with other chap sticks, and I had to stop myself short. I didn’t need all that slathering! In fact, I just do a very light brush on my lower lip and then rub my lips together — perfect! At this rate, this lip balm is going to last forever. I continually am amazed at the quality of Earthley’s products.
