Apply under your arms in the mornings. Avoid using directly after shaving as the magnesium could cause irritation or burning. Do not use on broken skin.

Q: I am experiencing a burning sensation? Is something wrong?
A: Magnesium can cause irritation on freshly shaved skin, so we recommend waiting for a bit before applying.
Q: Will this stain my clothes? If so, how do I get it out?
A: The French Green Clay can stain your clothes. This can be minimized by not applying too much (use fingers to apply!) and letting it dry for a bit before getting dressed. If you do get stains, we recommend applying baking soda to the stain (leave the stain dry) and letting it sit 24 hours before washing.
Q: Why do I still smell after switching to natural deodorant?
A: Having body odor is a sign that your body needs a detox or is detoxing. We have found that the best thing to do to help you switch to our natural deodorant is using our Detoxifying Pit Mask to help the process along. While this deodorant does support detox, sometimes we need extra support and our Detoxifying Pit Mask is a great product for that!
Q: What is the difference between Mineral Deodorant and Mineral Deodorant Plus? Which one should I choose?
A: The only difference is the use of French Green Clay in our Plus version. This gives it a more detoxifying edge for those that really struggle with body odor and need more help.
Q: Is Lemon-Mint safe to use while breastfeeding? Why is there a warning on it?
A: Lemon-Mint is safe to use while breastfeeding. We put a warning on it because some women are more sensitive to the mint family and may not want to use it while breastfeeding. If you decide to use it and notice a change in your milk supply, we recommend choosing another scent to use while breastfeeding.
Q: Why is the deodorant only for ages 8+?
A: Most of our deodorants contain essential oils. Essential oils are very strong and potent and should not be used on children under 8 years of age in most cases. The Unscented formula is safe for all ages.

Two of my aunts died of breast cancer so I don’t want to use anything that could cause cancer. I’ve tried many natural and aluminum free deodorants and none of them seem to work well. I decided to give this one a try. I bought the unscented because usually scented smells disgusting, worse than BO. Anyway, I am pleased with it. It still has a faint scent, like clay. But it’s tolerable. It seems to work well but I do have to reapply throughout the day, as most deodorants require. I might be brave and try some of the other scents. I do like that I am also detoxing. I feel that it actually helps with the BO smell.

It’s pretty good for a natural deodorant and the lemon mint smells nice. It has a wetter texture so I put it on and give it a few minutes before putting my shirt on. I have used it while wearing my shirt and I haven’t noticed any transfer. The only real setback for me is that I cannot use it on days when I shave my armpits because it makes them itch like crazy. Other than that it’s nice to have a clean deodorant alternative.
