Apply under your arms in the mornings. Avoid using directly after shaving as the magnesium could cause irritation or burning. Do not use on broken skin.

FAQs
Q: Does this contain aluminum?
A: No! We never use aluminum in any of our deodorants. We don’t even use aluminum equipment in our facility, so there’s no chance of cross-contamination.
Q: What's wrong with baking soda? Isn't it natural?
A: Yes, it is! But some people find it irritating and end up with a red, painful rash. We choose to use arrowroot so that people with sensitive skin can use this too.
Q: Is there any kind of transition period from regular deodorant?
A: There can be. Sometimes you can smell worse for up to 2 weeks! Our Detoxifying Pit Mask helps to shorten that time.
Q: Do I need to wear this daily?
A: Many people do, of course. But some find, over time, that they no longer smell even when they don’t wear it everyday. It’s up to you!
Q: Ouch, it burns when I put it on! Why?
A: If you shave, it creates tiny cuts in your skin. Magnesium can burn when applied to any wound. We recommend waiting at least 30 minutes after shaving before applying.
Q: Will this leave oil stains on my clothes?
A: A: The French Green Clay can stain your clothes. This can be minimized by not applying too much and letting it dry for a bit before getting dressed. If you do get stains, we recommend applying baking soda to the stain (leave the stain dry) and letting it sit before 24 hours before washing.
Q: What is the difference between Mineral Deodorant and Mineral Deodorant Plus? Which one should I choose?
A: The only difference is the use of French Green Clay in our Plus version. This gives it a more detoxifying edge for those that really struggle with body odor and need more help.
Q: Why do I still smell after switching to natural deodorant?
A: Having body odor is a sign that your body needs a detox or is detoxing. We have found that the best thing to do to help you switch to our natural deodorant is using our Detoxifying Pit Mask to help the process along.
Q: Why is the deodorant only for ages 8+?
A: Most of our deodorants contain essential oils. Essential oils are very strong and potent and should not be used on children under 8 years of age in most cases. The Unscented and Vanilla formulas are safe for all ages.

Excellent Deodorant
I’d been searching for chemical free body care alternatives and found this deodorant. Ever hopeful (other natural deodorants didn’t work…) I ordered this and I wasn’t disappointed. It applies like any other deodorant and truly deodorizes! I use herbal baby powder over it because I don’t like the stickiness…every…deodorant has and that adds another layer of deodorizing protection. I’m very happy with the results and just ordered my second one.

This stuff is great. I’ve tried the Spring Blossoms, Rustic, and Woods scents. Spring Blossoms and Rustic smell amazing. In the container Woods smells a bit more like house cleaner than I’d like, but it’s not unpleasant while wearing it. If it were the only scent I’d still use this product, but the other scents are so good that Woods can’t compete. In any scent, this stuff works and doesn’t irritate my skin, something I’ve struggled to find in a deodorant. I still haven’t found another option that is as good.

I received this deodorant as a gift, and was definitely skeptical about the label that said it actually worked. I’ve tried several natural deodorants and the only ones that worked had baking soda, which unfortunately irritates my skin. This one has no baking soda, goes on smooth, and works really well. My only complaint is that it feels a little bit sticky under my arms. That can take a bit of getting used to. I really like that they have a travel size as well. Perfect for the gym.

I’m a female and my favor scent is rustic, which is probably more of a “man’s” scent, but I just like it. I also like the vanilla bean scent. My only complaints are I can’t wear it immediately after shaving my armpits without it burning (I have sensitive skin). So I shave at night and put it on in the morning. Or wait a few hours before putting it on. Other than that I’ve never had any issues with irritation from the product. I cannot use brands in the grocery store (like secret) because it gives me a rash… Almost yeast infection like rash (extremely painful). I switched to crystal deodorant about 8-10 years ago, and I “thought” that worked. Since then I’ve tried several brands (toms of Maine, other natural deodorant from the grocery store, type-A, and Lume), but Earthly is by far the best. It works much better and for a longer period of time. It’s smooth, doesn’t leave residue on clothes, and it works! I would highly recommend.

I have been on the search for a truly natural deodorant. Some brands that had clean ingredients have since been bought out and changed their formulas without disclosing that to consumers. Major disappointment. I finally switched over to Earthley’s deodorant and I’m so happy! I can trust the ingredients, which is very important to me, but it also truly works.
