Only the most gentle, yet effective ingredients are used to create Earthley’s Laundry Detergent. The natural power of washing soda, citric acid, and saponified oils combine to clean clothing without brighteners, fragrances, or dyes. We also included bromelain, an enzyme naturally derived from pineapples, to fight stains. The result is a pure, all-natural laundry detergent that is safe for sensitive skin and the environment.
Natural essential oils are added to our Citrus, Spring Blossoms, and Eucalyptus-Spearmint scents to leave behind a light, fresh smell. However, if you prefer unscented products, we have that option available too!

Usage
For normal loads, use 1 tbsp. For heavily-soiled loads, use 1.5 tbsp. The use of hot or warm water is recommended. May be used in an HE washer if it is blended with a small amount of hot water and added to the drum before the clothes. Works well with hard water.

I really wanted to use this as my new detergent to get away from the toxic mainstream products, but I couldn’t tell that this did the job well enough. As others have said, it does smell great from the bag, but I didn’t notice any scent on my clothes at all, and, in fact, my towels were left with a musty smell. I also have an HE washer and tried it both as is and by mixing with water as recommended and neither method seemed to work. This product may be good for light loads in non-HE washers, but doesn’t work well enough for my household.

I was so excited to try this laundry detergent based on the reviews and unfortunately (and I hate to say this) I was so disappointed! We are on hard water and clean our washer regularly due to hard water build up so I knew it wasn’t our washer but for some reason it wasn’t able to take the Georgia red clay out of my children’s clothes. I mean I literally even had put it on top of the clay stains that happened less than thirty minutes after my children playing and it STILL did not clean them. I really want to like this and still try it once in awhile but same results. I do have to agree though that it does make our clothes smell good but unfortunately not clean.

I was skeptical to try this detergent because I have tried a lot of natural options. I feel like they never really clean the clothes well or really dirty workout clothes still have a smell. Well, I am glad I tried this laundry detergent!! I love the thyme smell (although it does dissipate). I have found all the clothes to come out clean. Plus, I love how it looks in my mason jar. I use one scoop for normal loads and 2 scoops for extra dirty clothes. I would definitely recommend this product. So many laundry products on the market are green washed. Not this one!

Very impressed with Earthley’s powdered laundry detergent. I purchased this when it was launched so I wanted to wait a bit before sharing a review. My bag is just about gone now, and I love this stuff! I normally DO NOT like powdered detergents, usually my clothes would be left smelling unclean. Not with this. I highly recommend- also, don’t forget to take note of the packaging that it works best if used with warm water. I know a lot of people, myself included, do most washes on cold and granted- I have forgotten to switch it to want and used this detergent and didn’t notice any issues though I’m sure it would arise if I made that a regular habit. The warm water is important to help break down all the powder.

This laundry soap is the best! My clothes come out amazingly clean, way better than my previous liquid, “clean” detergent I was using before. I even wash my clothes mixed with my husband’s stinky work clothes/socks, and they come out clean and fresh every time! We are using an old used washing machine that smelled musty when we bought it and used it with our last detergent. With this stuff, after a few washes, it no longer stinks! Even though my washer has a slot for detergent, I just dump the detergent in on top of my clothes and skip the drawer. Works great! I can definitely see how this will last for 60 loads for us. Way more cost effective than other brands I’ve looked at, and definitely waaaayyy more convenient than making my own… The bag is way less of an eyesore than a homemade detergent setup would be!
