Scoop a small amount out of the container with your finger or a cotton swab, and apply to the affected areas as needed.

Q: Can this be used on a newborn’s umbilical cord?
A: Yes! Our baby powder was designed with cord care in mind.
Q: Is this cloth diaper safe?
A: Yes!
Q: Why is it so gritty in texture? Will this hurt my baby?
A: Our Herbal Baby Powder is made from herb powders, not clays or anything super fine, so it won’t have the same texture as normal baby powder. This will not hurt your baby.
Q: It is difficult to wipe it off during diaper changes. What do you recommend?
A: Our baby powder does not need to be wiped off completely during diaper changes.
Q: Can I grind it into a finer texture?
A: You can, but because it’s made from plants, it may not have a fine texture even if you get it into smaller particles.

Our family loves earthley but this is a product that didn’t work well for us. It’s more granular than powdery, and too abrasive for the sensitive skin of a baby’s diaper areas. When one of my twins had a yeast rash at around 7months old, I tried putting this in his diaper but was alarmed to find it would not wipe off without scratching him! (You’d have to bathe your child with each diaper change.) The “no more yeast salve” is a much better option.

I absolutely love this baby powder for my Littles. Anytime there any red areas I apply this immediately and within a few hours or overnight the redness is completely gone. It has never been irritating to the skin, even on my littlest who is four months old. We absolutely love this stuff!

I am so glad that this product exists! I use powder almost daily in creases. I was a bit surprised to see the difference in consistency compared to regular talc powder, but it works great. It does seem to stay gritty, it is not as smooth as talc powder, but it is well worth it for the benefit.

I didn’t like this at first. I tried it on my baby and it’s so gritty. I personally don’t like it for my babies. However, I tried it on my thighs when it’s hot and it’s ok. I like the ingredients. I just wish it was a finer grind, more of a powder. It would be much more comfortable as a finer powder.
