$8.99 – $15.99
Did you know that magnesium performs over 300 essential functions in your body – including promoting healthy sleep, natural detox, healthy blood sugar levels, and gut health? Many forms of magnesium supplements either cause cramping/stomach upset (oral options) or are itchy (sprays). But not ours!
We’ve blended pure magnesium chloride with nourishing oils and butters that moisturize your skin while the magnesium absorbs quickly. The result is healthy skin and a healthy body!
Formulated by an herbalist and mother of 6 and trusted by thousands of happy customers, Good Night Lotion is safe for the whole family. Made with the cleanest, most recognizable ingredients, like apricot oil, mango butter, and plant-based candelilla wax, with absolutely no compromises.

Description
Did you know that approximately 80% of the population is deficient in magnesium?
It’s used for over 300 functions in our bodies, and we burn through it faster in times of stress. Even more importantly, it’s a co-factor for the absorption and use of other key nutrients, like vitamin D. Getting enough magnesium is critically important to health!
Some signs you might not get enough:
- Struggle to fall or stay asleep
- Occasional constipation
- Feeling anxious/wired
- Lack of appetite
- Muscle soreness/cramps
- Metabolic issues
Our Good Night Lotion is rich in natural magnesium chloride and blended with skin-nourishing oils. This means it’s not itchy like sprays, and doesn’t cause digestive upset like pills. It’s also very easy to use — simply rub it into belly or legs approximately 15 minutes before sleep. There are approximately 100 mg of magnesium per teaspoon of lotion, so use the amount that meets your needs!
Our lotion is safe for all ages. Choose original (with lavender essential oil for added benefits) or sensitive (without essential oils/unscented for those who are allergic to lavender or prefer unscented products). Shelf life of 1 year.

FAQs
Q: Can I use more than a pea-sized amount?
A: Yes! Every person’s needs differ, so you can use more or less than the suggested amount. If you still struggle to sleep or experience a restless feeling, use more.
Q: What are these little white balls in it? How do I get rid of them?
A: These are stearic acid, a naturally-occurring fatty acid in shea and mango butters. When the lotion melts in transit or in a bathroom and cools slowly, the stearic acid separates from the other oils and hardens as these little balls. Your lotion is still fine! If you don’t like the texture, you can remelt it, stir, and put it in the freezer to cool quickly.
Q: How do I use this for occasional constipation?
A: Rub a small amount (start with pea-sized but use more if needed) on your lower abdomen. For a child, do the “L” massage – up the left side, across, and down the right side.
Q: Why magnesium chloride instead of another form?
A: Magnesium chloride is the best “general” form and well absorbed topically. Other forms are beneficial for different reasons, but if you’re overwhelmed by research, this is a great place to start.
Q: Can I experience any side effects from this?
A: Rarely, someone can have itchy skin or slight diarrhea, but this isn’t common. Use less in future applications.
Q: I'm pregnant. Can I rub this on my belly?
A: Absolutely! Many women need extra magnesium while pregnant because their bodies are doing so much. It can help you get a good night’s sleep.
Q: If I want to use this during the day for sore muscles or another need, will it make me fall asleep?
A: Almost certainly not. It helps muscles relax and allows your body to calm for sleep, but it doesn’t induce drowsiness. You can use it whenever needed.
Q: My kids are more wired after use rather than sleepy. What happened?!
A: On rare occasions, lavender has the opposite effect on people, causing them to get energy instead of calming down! We suggest trying the sensitive version instead.
