Q: My dishes are looking streaky and cloudy. What can I do?
A: We suggest using distilled vinegar as your rinse agent to help with this.

Bought the unscented version and have been using it for a few months now with the recommend vinegar rinse. My dishes come out just as clean as before, but much shinier because of the vinegar rinse. My dishes had been getting tiny scratches on them because of how caustic the old soap I was using was, but not with this new detergent! It even seems to be cleaning my machine! I use so much less soap with Earthley’s detergent, so I know one bag will last me a long time. I’m not a fan of scents, and we’re very sensitive to them, so the unscented version is perfect for our family. Won’t go back to using the old stuff ever again.

I was hoping this would be my new go-to for dishwasher detergent/powder, but it just didn’t get the job done. It cleaned decently on dishes that weren’t heavily soiled, but left a residue. I also tried it along with using vinegar as the rinse-aid and there was no difference. Others may have a different experience. I do like that this is a natural and non-toxic product, as with all of Earthley’s products.

I do love the smell of the dishwasher detergent. I also love that the price is reasonable especially for us mama’s who are on a budget. I have to admit I was skeptical of this one. Dishwasher detergent was the last of our household items to get switched out for a fragrance free, non toxic alternative.
I was surprised and my expectations surpassed!
That being said, dishes do need to be a little cleaner going into the dishwasher than before. The vinegar rinse aid is a must. And on occasion things do need a little extra rinse because we have hard water.
But to not have those toxic fumes streaming from the dishwasher every time we run it is totally worth the little bit of extra effort it takes to get our dishes sparkling clean.

I was skeptical of using this due to having hard well water. Powder detergent don’t often dissolve well. This dissolved completely and left the dishes very clean. I used the vinegar rinse per the instructions, and am very pleased with the results.

I was almost going to try a conventional toxic soap, but decided to try Earthley’s detergent. So happy I found it! The scent is really nice, but not overbearing whatsoever. I get headaches from fragrances, and the scent is naturally derived and mild. My dishes are coming out clean with no residue! A few super dirty dishes have a spot of food residue, but that’s always been the case, even with toxic soap. I would recommend this product!

I have been enjoying this powder dishwashing detergent. I’ve found that it works best when paired with vinegar in the rinse-aid compartment. I was initially disappointed that the bag was pretty small, but it really seems to last a long time because it only takes a small scoop per load. I appreciated that a scoop was included so I know how much to put in the washer. I use the unscented version. It is more expensive than the other green detergents that I use, but I love buying from a small, local business and supporting them, and I haven’t been disappointed with any of their products that I’ve tried.
