Usage
Original:
- Ages 2 – 6: 5 – 10 drops
- Ages 6 – 12: 10 – 20 drops
- Ages 13+: 20 drops
Kids (Alcohol Free):
- 6 mo – 6 years: 5-10 drops
- 6 – 12 year: 10-20 drops
- 13+: 20 drops
Taken orally. Can be added to tea, juice, or smoothie if that is preferred. If the first dose is not effective, more can be given after 15 – 20 minutes. Can be taken every 4 hours or as needed.

Q: Why isn’t Cough-B-Gone safe for pregnancy?
A: There is a minimal risk that fenugreek can cause contractions, so in the effort to be safe, we do not recommend it for pregnant women. However, you are free to do your own research and determine what you think is best.
Q: Is Cough-B-Gone safe for infants?
A: Cough-B-Gone is safe for infants 6 months and older. If your baby is younger, try sitting in the bathroom with a steamy shower running to break up congestion.
Q: How often can I take it?
 A: See our usage tab for information on how many drops each age group needs, but you can take this as needed. If the first dose is not effective, more can be given after 15 – 20 minutes. Can be taken every 4 hours or as needed.
Q: Why isn’t it a cough suppressant?
A: Cough suppressants prohibit the natural expectorant properties of our lungs while sick. You don’t want to suppress a cough that is producing phlegm because that prevents your body from getting rid of infection! We formulated Cough-B-Gone to aid the body in getting rid of gunk in your lungs so that you get over infection faster!

This Cough-B-Gone product is seriously a lifesaver for my family and I whenever we are sick with sore throats and/or coughing. I take a direct serving size of it in my mouth and don’t drink anything for 5 minutes, and it provides immediate soothing relief for any sore or scratchy throat (when I first got it I used to take it diluted in my drinks, but found that this is not as effective as just putting it directly undiluted into my mouth from the dropper). Not only does it work instantly, but it tastes great! It has a sweet, soothing flavor (the kids version is the only one I have tried so I cannot speak to the original version) that doesn’t leave a bad aftertaste. This is an absolute must have to keep in your medicine cabinet for those days when your throat is bothering you! Highly highly recommend.
