Cacao is considered a “super fruit” because of its extremely high antioxidant, polyphenol, and flavanol content.  These constituents are responsible for cacao’s many health benefits!

Stir 1/4 – 1 tsp. (depending on your preference and needs) into coffee, milk, or a smoothie and enjoy. Each bag has 96 servings at 1/2 tsp each.

Q: Why is this bitter? It doesn’t taste like hot chocolate!

A: We don’t add any sugar to this product, so it will be bitter.  Feel free to add raw honey, maple syrup, or date sugar (or your preferred sweetener) to your recipe when using this product.

Q: How do I use this?

Q: Should I use this in the morning or at night?

A: It’s up to you!  Some people use it in the morning for a calm start to their day.  Others use it in the evening to calm down before sleep.

Q: It’s not dissolving well — what’s wrong?

A: The added herbs are whole powdered roots, so they won’t dissolve.  We recommend mixing it into a thicker drink or baking with it.  Consider using a frother to blend well in a drink.

    I just got this recently, and so far I am loving it! I put it in my coffee, and it adds a great flavor without being overwhelming. As a homeschooling mama of 3 littles, I have been made more aware of how easily I get overstimulated – I felt like I was always starting my day stressed out before anything even happened. Now that I’ve started taking the Cocoa Calm, I feel like my day is starting off on a better foot, with a clearer head and overall better disposition, which helps me be a calmer, kinder mom. The biggest difference I can see is at the kids’ bedtime – before, I would get SO frustrated when they would get out of bed or bicker with one another, but now I am much more even-keeled to handle the squabbles without feeling exasperated.     I absolutely love coco calm. I have to have it every morning in my coffee. It has a bit of an earthy taste with a hint of coco powder. It’s a great addition to my coffee, i prefer it. My coffee tastes weird without it now lol! just make sure to stir every once in awhile if you take awhile to finsih your coffee like i do, or it settles to the bottom.

    Cocoa Calm is my favorite! I’ve been taking it about 4 months now. It tastes yummy mixed in some hot water with milk and honey in the mornings. It’s almost like a Mexican Hot Chocolate! However, I didn’t think it was working, because I didn’t feel any different. Then I went out of town for the weekend and within a few days, I felt on edge! I was much more snappy with my toddlers. Started back up on Cocoa Calm when I got home and within 24 hrs, I was much more calm. It’s not that I am perfectly at peace, but I find it helps me handle things better. I definitely will continue using this product. Side note- I am also pregnant and so far my baby has been healthy while I have taken this once daily.

    Obsessed with Cocoa Calm! A half teaspoon in my German chocolate overnight oats or in a berry smoothie to start the day with a calm outlook. Also great sprinkled into my coffee. Or, later, sprinkled in with refined-sugar-free brownies, or an evening hot cocoa with warm milk. Mmmm. I don’t add sweetener to the chocolate milk because the natural milk sugars and Cocoa Calm together make a yummy bittersweet treat. Favorite drink to unwind! Also, at only half a teaspoon at a time, I’ve been very pleased with how long the bag is lasting.

    I started taking this after my dad passed away from covid at 59. It has eased my anxiety about how to help my mom, made it easier to sleep at night, and feel calm throughout the day. I take the full teaspoon at bed time in almond milk. I find it dissolves best if you let it sit and then get the powder wet and let sit some more for maybe 5-10 mins. It then perfectly dissolves and makes my almond milk just like chocolate milk. Tastes great!

    I wanted to love this but didn’t. It doesn’t mix well, is very bitter to me. I’ve tried making hot chocolate using water or milk and it was not pleasant to drink. Maybe if I totally disguise it in a smoothy/coffee or something that would help but defeats the purpose I purchased it for, which was hot chocolate. It doesn’t taste like chocolate to me but rather very herby.

    I cannot say enough good things about this. I am truly grateful for this powder. I have been struggling with PPD for 3.5 months now.
