Oh my goodness so my newborn daughter is 6 months old and she’s had this awful neck rash since June and nothing seems to help we tried everything from cornstarch powder to Dr rx and it just seemed to be worse her poor neck was all red and just slimy and I had no idea what to do so a friend recommended I try the baby balm on her neck and the results is AMAZING it’s not totally gone yet but it’s dry and pink and much better than it was before I am still using it on her a couple times a day hoping it will clear up completely soon! This stuff is amazing! My babe has VERY sensitive skin, and can’t sit in a dirty diaper longer than a minute without her bottom turning red and irritated. She also gets rashy from an overnight wet diaper. Nothing else I’ve used for diaper rash works as quickly as this salve! As soon as I put it on her irritated bottom she seems to calm down, so it must be soothing! And within an hour the redness or rash is completely gone! This is not only MY favorite baby butt stuff, it’s my HUSBAND’S favorite! He raves about it to my in-laws (and anyone who will listen). Fortunately, we haven’t had to battle diaper rashes but my 13 month old does get dry skin easily in this harsh winter months. I’ve been using this on dry skin patches, scrapes or bumps. I love using this diaper ointment on my baby! I cloth diaper and I love how it is safe for cloth! It comes in a large chapstick type tube. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be applied directly to the diaper area, but I use my clean finger to scrape some off so as to avoid contamination. It works great for minor rashes but for redder ones it takes several applications to clear up (we rarely get bad rashes).
