Q: Is Arnica safe for open wounds?
A: We advise against using arnica on open wounds (All-Purpose Salve is a better option here), but a small amount is likely not going to hurt.Ā If you accidentally use it on a bump that has a small cut, don’t worry!Ā Avoid on larger wounds.
Q: How does this compare to homeopathic arnica?Ā Is this homeopathic?
A: This is herbal arnica.Ā We take whole flowers and infuse them in olive oil.Ā Homeopathic arnica comes on little pellets and is very dilute.Ā There are times you may want to use both, depending on what is going on (for example, if you strain a large muscle, taking both would be beneficial).
Q: Is this different or better than creams, gels, or ointments from the store?

I just received mine and haven’t tried it yet. My suggestion would be to attach the label better on the package, I had to tape mine as soon as it came as it was starting to fall off. It would also be good to have some of the uses printed on the label. Thanks

We have only used this a few times, but it seems to do pretty well. My husband has used it and it seemed to help him. With these small tubes, they should include what it is used for as it is easy to get all the little tubes mixed up that they sell for first aid purposes.

So, Iāve loved everything Iāve purchased from Earthley, but this probably surprised me the most. A little salved stick? I deal with chronic pain in my feet related to autoimmune disease.
