Elderberries come from the American elderberry plants. They are a small, deep purple berry that packs a punch regarding benefits. Elderberries are rich in antioxidants, may support a healthy immune system, and have antiviral properties.

You will typically find elderberries in syrup, dried, and used in teas or powder.

Elder trees can be found amongst most areas in North America except for the further north areas and islands. you can harvest elderberry clusters. Be sure to separate the leaves and stems from the berries. Berries should be heat dried or cooked before using.   Elder Flowers are also very beneficial.
