2025 Summer Camps

Missing Alt Text

This summer, Earthley's flagship retail store, located in Columbus, OH will be offering summer camps!

These camps are hands-on and filled with learning for kids ages 4+. There are 3 different themes!

The Camps

Herbs as Food

Join us to learn about how herbs can be food! Each day, we will make one delicious, edible project that combines herbs and other healthy ingredients. Your camper will learn about the benefits of herbs and how to incorporate them into everyday recipes – and taste the results!

This is hands-on learning in the best way. Kids get to experience herbs in real time and learn how to use them in popular recipes. They'll take home recipe cards so they can make their favorites again and again.

In addition to the recipes, kids will learn about foraging, drawing herbs, playing games with herbal flashcards, and more. No experience with herbalism or cooking is required!

The projects:

  • Day 1: Chocolate peanut butter energy bites
  • Day 2: Smoothie with herb
  • Day 3: Herbal gummies
  • Day 4: Marshmallow root marshmallows
  • Day 5: Mint sun tea + fruit salad

When: June 9 - 13th; 1 - 3 PM each day (10 total hours) Ages: 8+ Cost: $125

Herbs as Art

Join us to learn about how herbs can be art! We will use a variety of different herbs to create different crafts. Each day your child will take home a project to keep and cherish forever! Plus, they’ll learn a new art skill they can use again and again.

No previous experience with herbs or art is needed!

FAQs

Q: Where is this camp located?

A: At Earthley's flagship retail store in Columbus, OH. 6903 East Broad St. in the Giant Eagle plaza.

Q: Is this a drop-off program?

A: For our youth program, yes! The camp is 2 hours per day and you are welcome to leave to do shopping or whatever during the camp time. We ask that parents of preschoolers stay with their kids.

Q: Can I register multiple children?

A: Yes! Each youth camp has 12 seats, and the preschool camp has 8. You are welcome to register multiple of your own children.

Q: Can my child participate even if they are outside the age restrictions?

A: We ask that children are either within the age restrictions or relatively close. A 10-year-old may not enjoy the preschool camp and a 4-year-old may struggle with the youth camp. If your child is close to the ages listed and you feel they would be better in a different camp, you can register them. You know your child best.

Q: Can my younger child and I stay during my older child's camp?

A: Yes! We have a play area for kids and a sitting area, as well as snacks and healthy prepared meals for purchase.

Q: What is included in the cost?

A: Included is personal attention from our wonderful team members, all supplies to complete the projects, and some take-home items. Campers will also get recipes and hand-outs so they can extend the learning - or repeat their favorite activities - at home.

Q: Who will be teaching these camps?

A: Our wonderful retail team! Many are homeschool moms with co-op teaching experience.

Q: Do I have to pay for the camp up front?

A: Yes.

Q: If the camp fills, is there a waitlist?

A: If the camp your child wants to participate in is full, please see our team members in store. They will take your info and let you know if a spot opens up.

Q: What if my child has a food allergy?

A: We will share the top allergens in each camp ahead of time. If your child has an allergy that is not in the top allergens, please ask. We can likely accommodate your child if their allergen is mild to moderate by swapping for a safe ingredient. However, if your child is severely allergic and cannot be around the allergen at all, especially airborne, the camp may not be a safe option for them.
