Description

If you’re looking for the best multi-purpose powder for your baby, you probably know about all the options available: talc, cornstarch, and clay-based. However, many of these baby powders have steep downsides, some even causing yeast rashes. Avoid all of those side-effects with our Herbal Baby Powder!

We formulate our powder with three powerful herbs that have skin-soothing, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties. Calendula Powder – a natural anti-inflammatory! This helps soothe irritated skin, and can help speed up the repairing process of any unwanted sore spots. Rosemary Powder is an excellent anti-fungal, making it an optimal ingredient to handle yeast rashes. Lavender Powder is ultra-soothing, and promotes wound repair of all kinds.

We made the powder for babies, but it can do so much more. Put it in your shoes, on your hair, in your bed, even use it as a finishing powder for make-up! A little goes a long way, so one bottle will last quite awhile!

FAQs

Q: Can this be used on a newborn’s umbilical cord?

A: Yes! Our baby powder was designed with cord care in mind.

Q: Is this cloth diaper safe?

A: Yes!

Q: Why is it so gritty in texture? Will this hurt my baby?

A: Our Herbal Baby Powder is made from herb powders, not clays or anything super fine, so it won’t have the same texture as normal baby powder. This will not hurt your baby.

Q: It is difficult to wipe it off during diaper changes. What do you recommend?

A: Our baby powder does not need to be wiped off completely during diaper changes.

Q: Can I grind it into a finer texture?

A: You can, but because it’s made from plants, it may not have a fine texture even if you get it into smaller particles.

I love this product I’ve used it on two of my babies for rashes, getting sand off after the beach, or to keep the moisture out of their folds around the pelvic area. It’s a staple in our house! The texture also has never bothered either of them and it smells wonderful!

I loved using this powder on my newborn’s umbilical cord! It helped dry things up quickly. I would say as a powder for baby’s bum, it was not my favorite. The texture is very gritty and hard to get off once it was on. I also noticed that when I applied it on diaper rashes that were any more than mild, my little one was in a lot of discomfort after application. I found the same to be true when I applied it on one of my toddler’s rashes and he told me it burned him! I’m not sure what ingredient would cause this but I would stick to using it for the umbilical cord and very minor diaper rashes.
