Vitex is also known as chaste tree berry. This tree is found in the Mediterranean region. You commonly will find vitex in teas and tinctures. Vitex is renowned for its support of female health. Vitex may help with hormonal balancing, fertility enhancement, and even menstrual symptoms.

How to Use
For Progesterone Support:
Ages 13+ can take 10 drops per day.
If taken at conception, continue taking in early pregnancy. Taper off slowly (such as going down 5 drops every 1 or 2 weeks, completely stopping by mid-pregnancy.
Tapering Protocol from Lead Herbalist, Kate Tietje:
- Weeks 4-5: 8 drops
- Weeks 6-7: 6 drops
- Weeks 8-9: 4 drops
- Weeks 10-11: 2 drops
- Week 12: Stop
If pregnancy is not noticed until further than 4 weeks, adjust the time frame to a slow and steady progression similar to above and ending at the 12th week when the natural progesterone is more consistent in your body.
If taking drops more than once a day, follow the same drop tapering with the same number of times. For example, if taking 10 drops a day 3 times, start to taper with 8 drops a day 3 times, 6 drops a day 3 times, until to 0 drops.
