Usage
Apply a small amount to a sponge or dish brush (rub against the bar) and use to clean dishes. Keep the soap bar on a wooden dish where it can dry thoroughly between uses to prolong the bar’s life.

FAQs
Q: This seems to be used up quickly due to being wet. Is there anything I can do?
A: If the soap bar is constantly wet or soaked in water, it will be used up quickly. We suggest using our Wooden Soap Dish to help water drain away from it after you are done using it.
Q: What do the scraps look like?
A: Soap scraps vary in sizes. They could be anywhere from smaller scraps to soap bars just under the 4 oz mark. All totaling 8 oz. within the bag you receive.

I’ve been using this dish soap for a couple years now, I can honestly say it’s great!! I use it on my castiron pans, glass dishes, pots and pans, everything! It always cleans it right up and the bar lasts so long! When i didn’t have a dishwasher and had to use this on all of our dishes, one dish bar would last me at minimum 3 months! I cannot say enough good about this soap. We have some very greasy dishes and I used to use blue dawn dish soap. I decided to try this and I was shocked it works amazing at degreasing. I often wash just one or two dishes at a time, and it’s great for that. I just rub my scrub brush over the top, it suds up great and degreases well! I love Earthley’s dish soap bar! I don’t use it for a sink-full of dishes since it’s a bar and I like to just squirt some from my squeeze-bottle dish soap to fill up the sink. However, the bar is SO helpful to have on hand for when I just want to wash one or two dishes! I just wet my hand, rub the soap bar a little (very little is all it takes), and then rub the dirty dish all over with my soaped-up hand. It’s quick and easy, and this soap really does such a great job cutting grease!

Recently purchased this Dish Soap bar looking for a cleaner alternative to the popular blue dish degreaser. I am very surprised at how well this lathers, degreases, cleans and rinses. I am pleasantly surprised! I really like this soap bar. I got the grapefruit scent, it’s light, smells clean, and is refreshing. I will be waiting to see if it lasts as long as the liquid detergent (not so sure about that); but, otherwise it’s great on greasy pans, I love the feeling of it on my hands, and it’s a clean ingredient alternative to what’s out there. I wanted to love this! And in some ways, I do. It does seem to cut grease well and I actually enjoy having it there in the little soap dish and rubbing my sponge on there – and of course I love the purity of ingredients. However – when I wash things with this soap and let them dry in the drying rack, they almost always have spots. Which never ever happened when I was using my homemade liquid dish soap concoction. Which is a bummer 🙁 So I wouldn’t buy it again. Seems like this isn’t a common issue for most, though. Not sure why it’s happening for me.

The only thing I don’t like about the Dish Soap Bar is that I have to reapply once or twice to my washcloth or brush. However, the more natural liquid dish soaps also needed to be reapplied. Because of how well this cuts grease, cleans, and rinses, all while having truly safe and natural ingredients makes it worthwhile. Both my husband and I like it.
I used the unscented a lot, but the lemon-thyme has a nice, clean scent to it. The grapefruit scent is very mild and barely noticeable. If you want a stronger scent, I would not choose the grapefruit. If you’re looking for a scent that is mild, then grapefruit would be a good choice.
I also use this to wash my hands. I just keep it on a soap saver dish. My skin is VERY sensitive, and soaps cause me to break out in eczema. I do not have that problem with this soap.

I dislike the product. I thought it was all hip and cool to have a bar of soap for dishes, but the entire time I had liquid soap there that did a better job. It looked gross as it melted down in the soap dish. After about 2 weeks I decided I’m not buying it again and prefer liquid soap.

This was my fist time using a dish soap bar, switched over from dawn and I will never go back. It works just as good, if not better. It doesn’t dry my hands out either which is awesome. Also, my husband usually uses dawn to wash the grease and oil off his hands after working on the car but since we don’t have dawn anymore he used the dish soap bar and he said it works so much better then dawn, his hands were squeaky clean, lol. He told me to buy an extra bar just for him to use.
