Usage
Apply a small amount to a sponge or dish brush (rub against the bar) and use to clean dishes. Keep the soap bar on a wooden dish where it can dry thoroughly between uses to prolong the bar’s life.

I am pleasantly surprised! I really like this soap bar. I got the grapefruit scent, it’s light, smells clean, and is refreshing. I will be waiting to see if it lasts as long as the liquid detergent (not so sure about that); but, otherwise it’s great on greasy pans, I love the feeling of it on my hands, and it’s a clean ingredient alternative to what’s out there. Good job Earthley! I’m giving it 4 stars because, I’m concerned it may not last as long, for the price, otherwise it would have been 5.

I wanted to love this! And in some ways, I do. It does seem to cut grease well and I actually enjoy having it there in the little soap dish and rubbing my sponge on there – and of course I love the purity of ingredients. However – when I wash things with this soap and let them dry in the drying rack, they almost always have spots. Which never ever happened when I was using my homemade liquid dish soap concoction. Which is a bummer 🙁 So I wouldn’t buy it again. Seems like this isn’t a common issue for most, though. Not sure why it’s happening for me.

The only thing I don’t like about the Dish Soap Bar is that I have to reapply once or twice to my washcloth or brush. However, the more natural liquid dish soaps also needed to be reapplied. Because of how well this cuts grease, cleans, and rinses, all while having truly safe and natural ingredients makes it worthwhile. Both my husband and I like it.
I used the unscented a lot, but the lemon-thyme has a nice, clean scent to it. The grapefruit scent is very mild and barely noticeable. If you want a stronger scent, I would not choose the grapefruit. If you’re looking for a scent that is mild, then grapefruit would be a good choice.
I also use this to wash my hands. I just keep it on a soap saver dish. My skin is VERY sensitive, and soaps cause me to break out in eczema. I do not have that problem with this soap.

This was unexpectedly my favorite item in Earthley’s cleaning line! It cleans as well as Dawn, doesn’t dry out my hands, smells amazing (I got lemon-thyme scent) & sudses great! I love knowing that we’re not washing toxic chemicals down the drain into our water supply! I cut mine in half & keep it on Earthley’s wooden soap dish, so it lasts even longer.

I dislike the product. I thought it was all hip and cool to have a bar of soap for dishes, but the entire time I had liquid soap there that did a better job. It looked gross as it melted down in the soap dish. After about 2 weeks I decided I’m not buying it again and prefer liquid soap.

This was my fist time using a dish soap bar, switched over from dawn and I will never go back. It works just as good, if not better. It doesn’t dry my hands out either which is awesome. Also, my husband usually uses dawn to wash the grease and oil off his hands after working on the car but since we don’t have dawn anymore he used the dish soap bar and he said it works so much better then dawn, his hands were squeaky clean, lol. He told me to buy an extra bar just for him to use.
