This program is an initiative to teach kids about natural living in a hands-on, real-world way. In our program, kids will learn:
- Sewing
- Crafting
- Cooking
- Preserving
- Foraging
- Gardening
- Medicine-making
- ...and more!
Hands-On Homeschool
Our program for older kids is based on our Earthley curricula. We'll be teaching a different course each month as a 4-week series. These include the Learn to Homestead series and a new series based on the Green Family books (coming in 2025).
Each week will be a new hands-on project! Every student will get a book to keep that shares extra info and more recipes/projects to try at home.
Class sizes will be kept deliberately small - just 6 students each - to ensure plenty of hands-on time from the instructor. The instructor is a homeschooling mom of 8 who also runs a local co-op and has lots of experience in teaching kids (and natural health!).
The program is $60 per month ($15 per 90-min. class).

Preschool Pals
In our preschool program - schedule TBD - our youngest friends will read stories, do hands-on crafts, have snacks, and make simple recipes. We'll teach them how herbs taste and how they are good for their bodies in a fun way.
For February, we have a hands-on craft (Marshmallow Dough) and story time scheduled! The story will be from The Green Family series, fun children's books by local author Kate Tietje. These books support homeschooling, real food, gardening, home birth, and other natural living practices. Story time also comes with a craft/coloring time!
