At Earthley, we value transparency and believe in keeping you well-informed. This FAQs section aims to serve as a comprehensive resource, offering insights into our products/services, policies, and any other inquiries you might have. We've curated a list of questions that our affiliates frequently ask, along with detailed answers, to make your experience with us as smooth as possible.



Q. How much commission do I earn?A. When you register to become an Earthologist, you begin earning 15% commissions on all orders. Once you reach $1,000 in all-time sales, you can reach out to earthologists@earthley.com to get bumped up to 20% commissions.



Q. Is this MLM (multi-level marketing)?A. Nope! “MLM” stands for “Multi-Level Marketing,” which means people join as part of a team, and you need to recruit others to make $$$ by earning commission on their sales too. We don’t have multiple levels; everyone just earns a commission on the sales they personally make. There is no team building, no downlines, nothing like that.



Q. As an affiliate, do I get a discount for personal orders?A. Yes! You start using the general 15% off Earthologist code that we change every quarter. Once you reach $150 in commissions, you will get bumped up to 20% and you will receive your own personal 20% off discount code that only YOU can use.



Q. Is there a sales quota I need to make?A. Yes, there is a small sales quota you need to meet, but don't worry, it's very small! Earthologists must sell at least $50 in products within the past 3 months to be able to use the affiliate discount code.



Q. Do I get a personal link to share?A. Yes, you do! You can head to your Affiliate Account and click on Affiliate URLs, then paste any Earthley page link in the Page URL box and click 'Generate URL'. Or you can simply add your affiliate slug to the end of any Earthley link like this: www.earthley.com/ref/yourID



Q. How will I know if a customer places an order?A. You will receive an email informing you that you earned a commission on an order. Sometimes these emails go to spam, so make sure to check your spam folder frequently. Additionally, sometimes these emails may glitch and not get sent. Check your Affiliate Account under 'Order Details' for order referrals.



Q. Can I place an order for my customer and still receive credit?A. Yes, but you must log out of your account and use their email to purchase. If you use your account or your email, the order will automatically be rejected.



Q. Can I use 'Earthley' or 'Earthley Wellness' in my page/group title?A. No, you cannot. This can cause Brand Confusion.



Q. Why doesn't my commission amount equal 15-20% of the order total?A. You don't earn commission on taxes or shipping fees, so you aren't getting 15-20% of the order total, only the order SUBTOTAL. There is a glitch on the website. The site host refuses to fix this. This glitch causes the system to credit affiliates incorrect amounts for order referrals. Our co-founder and CEO, Ben Tietje, goes through and corrects any incorrect referral amounts before payday.



Q. When and how do we get paid?A. Payments for the current month get sent out via PayPal on or around the 16th of the following month. (Depending on holidays and weekends).



Q. Where do I find our sale info?A. Sale information is available in the Earthologist's newsletters, pinned in the Featured Tab in our training group on Facebook and in the Codes hyperlink in the Affiliate Area. All promotions are subject to change so check back frequently.



Q. Is there content we Earthologists can use?A. Yes! We provide content for all sales and general content for various topics like hormone health, gut health, pregnancy, skincare, and so much more. You can find these in the Media tab under Albums. For non-Facebook users, you can access graphics in the Creatives file in the Affiliate Area.



Q. Can I place an order under another affiliate so they get a commission?A. If you are registered as an Affiliate with Earthley's Earthologist Program, you are not permitted to place orders under other Earthologists. The system will reject the commissions. As a small business, we cannot afford to give you a generous discount AND pay another affiliate commission on that order. All Earthologists should be logged into their affiliate accounts when placing personal orders and they should be using the Earthologists discount.



Q. Can I stack coupons and use a sale code with my affiliate discount code?A. No, we don't allow coupon stacking. You can only use one coupon code per order. The website will automatically block the second coupon, so you will need to choose which coupon to use. However, you can combine a coupon code and a gift card or store credit code.



Q. Myself or my customer didn't like a product. What can we do?A. If it has been within 30 days since you ordered this product, reach out to our fantastic customer care team at customercare@earthley.com OR the Live Chat pop-up on our website, and they can help you.



Q. Can I use content from other Earthologists?A. Some Earthologists work very hard to create content for their followers. You cannot use their content unless you have EXPLICIT consent to use their work. We recommend that you create your own content or use our content for affiliates in the Facebook group and the Creatives folder in the Affiliate Area.



Q. My products arrived broken or leaking/my package never arrived; what can I do?A. During the mailing process sometimes packages get damaged, lids slip off (we do have measures we take to try and prevent this), or other catastrophes happen. Contact customercare@earthley for assistance.



Q. Who formulates Earthley's products?A. Our herbalist, CMO, and Founder, Kate Tietje formulates all of Earthley's products based on scientific studies. Kate has been studying herbs for over 10 years, she is an accomplished Herbalist, Blogger, and Author.



Q. I'm not a fan of the taste of the tinctures; what can I do?A. You can mix your tinctures at room temperature or with chilled drinks like juice, smoothies, water, iced tea, and chilled coffee. You can add it to foods like applesauce, cottage cheese, yogurt, or anything you like, as long as it is not hot. The only tincture that needs to be taken alone or with water (30 minutes before eating) is Digest-Support, to help it work effectively.



Q. Does Earthley test on animals?A. No, Earthley is proud to say that we have never and will never test on animals. Our products are Leaping Bunny certified, which is the gold standard in ensuring our products are cruelty-free. We test our products on ourselves, willing family members, willing Earthologists, and willing employees of Earthley.



Q. Is Earthley American-made and owned?A. Yes! Earthley's headquarters is located in Columbus, Ohio. Both Kate and Ben Tietje, the owners, are American. Every product is made in-house; we do not outsource product creation.



Q. Can I take Earthley products with prescription medications?A. We are happy you love and want to use Earthley products in your life. We cannot give medical advice and advise you to speak with your preferred naturally-minded medical care provider to ensure your prescriptions don't interact with the ingredients in the products you are interested in using.



Q. My product is lumpy; why is that?A. This can be stearic acid, which occurs when a product melts, separating the stearic acid from the other components. This can happen during the shipping process, especially during summer. You can slowly heat the product and immediately place in the freezer until firm.



Q. Can I take multiple tinctures at once?A. Yes, all of our herbal tinctures are safe to take together. However, we recommend taking Digest-Support on its own 30 minutes before a meal for it to work effectively.



Q. How often can I take tinctures?A. Our herbal tinctures are safe to take as needed, and almost all are safe daily. Some like Immune-Biotic and Feel Better Fast, which we recommend using only when ill. As needed may look different for every person; it could be every 3-4 hours or every hour. Do what works for you!



Q. How long should I take Gut Health Oil, Candida Cleanse, or V Detox?A. We recommend taking these (all together or separately, your choice based on your needs) for a minimum of 6 weeks, with another 6 weeks after your symptoms improve for good measure. Then we recommend a general maintenance cleanse every 6 months.



Q. I forgot to add something to my order; what can I do?A. You can place another order or reach out to our customer care team and request to cancel your order and place a new one. Unfortunately, our shipping system doesn't allow combining orders, so you will need to pay to ship both orders unless they qualify for free shipping.



Q. A customer of mine placed an order, but the commission went to the wrong affiliate. What can I do?A. This happens if your customer clicks on another affiliate's link last, uses an influencer's coupon code, or physically picks the wrong name at checkout. You will need to provide a screenshot of your customer's email order confirmation and send this to customercare@earthley.com and explain the situation.



Q. My referral amounts aren't adding up to 15-20% commission; what is going on?A. This is due to an unfortunate glitch our site host refuses to fix. Rest assured, we expect to pay every affiliate the correct amount. Ben, our co-founder and CEO, goes through all commissions and corrects any that aren't the right percentage. Also, note that you receive a commission on the subtotal (before taxes and shipping.)



Q. Does Earthley sell on Amazon?A. Yes, we do! We use a company called Mixt to handle the logistics. We don't authorize ANY other sellers to sell our products on Amazon. If you order via Amazon, make sure it's from Mixt.



Q. How do I know your products work?A. We wouldn't be a successful company if they didn't. We have great reviews on our website, Amazon, Walmart, and Google! We have over sixteen thousand affiliates who share our products because they have used and love them for themselves and their families. Try them out for yourself! We also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.
