Kate makes these delicious Green Smoothies, and they are a hit! The ingredients are simple and effectively nutritious. Together, they create a smoothie that fuels growth, supports a healthy inflammatory response, supports metabolic health, promotes overall wellness, and tastes like a beach vacation!
About the Ingredients
Each component of this smoothie is a powerhouse, chosen for flavor and function:
Pineapple-Ginger Juice: Pineapple delivers vitamin C for immunity and bone support, while bromelain offers anti-inflammatory support. Ginger adds a warm kick, supporting metabolism and soothing digestion – perfect for both kids and adults.
Frozen Mango Chunks: Mangoes contain vitamin A, which is beneficial for vision and skin health, and also supports growth spurts. Their natural sweetness keeps kids happy, and antioxidants help adults cope with oxidative stress.
Frozen Spinach: Spinach is a stealthy way to sneak in iron and natural folate for energy. Its mild flavor hides behind the fruit, and its anti-inflammatory benefits support overall wellness.
Earthley’s Greens Powder: This superfood blend is full of nutrients with organic green tea, lemon balm, spinach, alfalfa, spirulina, and kelp. This supports bone health and the immune system. It’s a clean, kid-safe way to boost greens without overpowering the smoothie’s tropical vibe.
