DIY Nourishing Lip Balm
Did you know many store-bought lip balms have ingredients that dry your lips out, causing you to go back and buy more? Crazy marketing scheme, don’t you think?
About the Ingredients
Olive Oil
Olive oil has been used for hundreds of years to support skin health. It is a natural source of antioxidants and healthy fats that nourish your skin. It is also naturally antimicrobial, so it helps the skin maintain its microbiome.
Shea Butter
Shea butter is great for even the most sensitive skin, making it the perfect ingredient for a body moisturizer that the whole family can use.
It is high in fatty acids and vitamins E and A. This leaves your skin not only hydrated but also allows it to absorb more nutrients for self-repair. It also has antibacterial properties, aiding further self-repair.
