Q: This is very messy. Why?
A: Our tooth powder can be messy when opened. We suggest wetting your toothbrush before dipping it into the tooth powder to help reduce mess.
Q: Will this bubble up like normal tooth paste?

There’s not enough flavor in the Lemon-Berry to notice, it’s a tad bit messy, and I don’t have that fresh breath feeling after I’ve brushed, but more importantly, my teeth are always very clean after using this powder, and after having cavities my entire life, since switching to tooth powder, my teeth are healthier than they have ever been before! In my mind, the pros far outweigh the cons and I will absolutely continue to use toothpowder, but I may order a different flavor next time!

Have boys? They’ll LOVE to turn their teeth black while brushing. I keep a dark towel or paper towels near the sink to wipe the residue away, but what it does for your teeth is worth it. We use the mint which has a very subtle flavor (will try the spice too). The powder is not gritty and teeth are smooth and clean. I dip my toothbrush in a scooping motion, tap off excess in the container and brush. You may want to get each family member their own tooth powder to use for that purpose. ~Tamara
